Trinity County Regional Transportation Plan Update

In 2022, Green DOT worked with the Trinity County Transportation Commission (TCTC) to prepare the 2022 Regional Transportation Plan Update and associated Environmental Negative Declaration. Green DOT facilitated a thorough planning process to identify transportation project needs in the region over the next 20 years. A robust outreach process including 16 community meetings and three Local Transportation Commission presentations ensured that projects and the ultimate adopted plan reflected the needs of the community and stakeholders. An Action and Financial Plan identifying funding streams and implementation timelines was developed to guide TCTC through project implementation for the identified priority projects within the region. The Trinity County RTP update was adopted in February 2023.
