Rural Counties Performance Measures Task Force

8The Rural Counties Task Force commissioned a report to explore and define the most effective way for rural and small urban entities of measuring performance of transportation projects. Green DOT played a key role on the team selected to prepare this study. The project team has vetted applicable performance measures for inclusion in the development of the 2016 STIP Guidelines. The final report was completed in September 2015 and assists rural and small urban areas in developing projects and justifying the most effective transportation investments in their locale. These identified performance measures will help the local agencies within Siskiyou County as well as the regional agency to determine which projects are the highest priority and support those with empirical data.
