2019 Glenn Regional Transportation Plan

Green DOT Transportation Solutions developed the Glenn County Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) in 2019-2020, building upon previous planning efforts while maintaining strict adherence to the 2017 Regional Transportation Plan Guidelines to identify critical transportation infrastructure needs through 2039. Our comprehensive planning process included exhaustive analysis of existing transportation conditions, detailed demographic forecasting, and extensive community outreach with local stakeholders across Glenn County and the incorporated cities of Orland and Willows. This multi-faceted approach enabled us to accurately assess current deficiencies, project future demands, and ensure the plan reflected genuine community transportation priorities and requirements.

The project culminated in updated and prioritized project lists for each jurisdiction and a strategic framework that positions Glenn County to pursue essential state and federal funding opportunities for transportation improvements over the next two decades. Through detailed technical analysis, demographic modeling, and meaningful community engagement, we delivered the adopted Final RTP in April 2020, complete with associated environmental documentation. This comprehensive plan provides a clear roadmap for addressing the region's evolving transportation challenges, supporting sustainable economic growth, and improving mobility for residents throughout Glenn County while ensuring compliance with regional planning standards.
