2018 Lassen Regional Transportation Plan

Green DOT Transportation was chosen by the Lassen County Transportation Commission (LCTC) to undertake a comprehensive update of the Lassen Regional Transportation Plan (RTP). Notably, the previous iteration of the Lassen RTP had last received adoption back in 2012, making this update a crucial step in modernizing the county's transportation strategy. Our dedicated team at Green DOT reevaluated and revamped the region's transportation infrastructure and projects. This process involved extensive research, data analysis, and rigorous planning to ensure that the updated RTP aligns with the evolving needs of Lassen County. One of the pivotal aspects of our undertaking was the meticulous gathering of the most up-to-date funding information available. This step was crucial to develop a sustainable and financially viable plan for the county's transportation future. After months of diligent work and collaboration, the Lassen RTP and the corresponding Environmental Document were successfully adopted in February 2018. These documents now serve as the guiding compass for steering transportation investments within Lassen County over the ensuing two decades, reflecting our commitment to crafting a transportation plan that serves the community's evolving needs.
